Hospitality Trade Shows & Conferences: 2025 Calendar for Australia, New Zealand & USA
🇦🇺 Hospitality Trade Shows & Conferences in Australia – 2025
Allow yourself plenty of time at a show: for research and finding the latest products, equipment and services for cafes, restaurants, food service, accommodation and bars.
🇳🇿 Hospitality Trade Shows & Conferences in New Zealand – 2025
There are always interesting new products and services on display at trade shows, and often not what you expect to find. That’s part of the fun – ask for supplier brochures or business cards so you can follow up with them later.
🇺🇸 Hospitality Trade Shows and Conferences in the USA – 2025
Trade shows can be excellent training opportunities for management staff and chefs – give them time to wander and see how the equipment works, sample food products and ask questions about new services.
Work Out Your Priorities: Are you looking for new food & beverage products, services, equipment or furniture? It may also be a chance to catch up with supplier reps and industry colleagues or just take the chance that you will meet old friends – trade shows are great like that!
Find the Most Suitable Event: Look into the event’s history, target industry, and the list of exhibitors. If your focus is on bar and liquor, a food show may not be of much interest. Some of the small shows (eg for bakers or craft beer) can be great for a focused look without distractions.
Don’t Miss the Talks and Panel Sessions: Most shows have a range of short, interesting panels and presentations on industry topics, and they’re usually right on the show floor. Check the program online or on posters when you enter, and enjoy the chance to sit, learn and ask questions. Look out for panels with the Foodie Coaches team if you’re at a show in Australia.
Plan Your Budget: Be ready for the cost of travel, accommodation, drinks and eating out. If you’re going to another city, allow extra time to visit restaurants and hospitality venues to see what’s new and original – this is great research.
Bring Your Best Employees: You may have been to trade shows before, but for many of your chefs and management team, this could be a first… and can be mind-blowing, in a good way! Allow plenty of time for them to roam the aisles, and ask them to bring back at least 3 new ideas for products, equipment and services from what they find. Allow time to unpack the ideas and let everyone’s imagination run freely.
Prepare for the Visit: Check the show’s website to become familiar with the layout, and where the items you’re most interested in are – they are usually together eg kitchen equipment, bakery, beverages etc. Parking is often a problem, so plan for public transport if you can.
